How Can I Follow the Savior’s Example in Helping Those in Need?
Great lesson. First I have an object lesson.
If you are short on time you can still use the quote and tell the students that with help from magnifying and technology, we would be able to see the ripple, just like we need God's help to magnify our efforts.
Here is an idea I did with my Young Woman. We all sat on the ground and sorted through these covenants. Out of all the covenants our Heavenly Father asks us to make at Baptism, how many of them have to do with being kind or serving someone? I was impressed at how my Young Woman said that even "Taking upon His Name" means that we need to serve as Jesus and God. We came out with only three-four that didn't apply. It was a powerful lesson on how important it is to our Heavenly Father for us to serve His children.
The lesson is super amazing, and I think especially Sister Michelle D. Craig’s message “Eyes to See” applies really well to the youth.
